PAY PERIOD

Hourly employees are paid for actual hours worked based on approved methods of time tracking. Record of hours worked must be approved by a supervisor and submitted no later than one week prior to the next designated pay period.
Compensation may not be taken in advance of work performed and ends upon completion of the last date of employment, the account to be settled at the next pay period.
Automatic Direct Deposit of compensation is preferred and available to all employees upon request.

Additional deductions for other taxes or employee directed benefits may be made upon request of the employee. All payroll deductions must be authorized by the employee in writing.

OVERTIME | FLEX TIME
First Baptist Owasso abides by the Oklahoma Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA) in regards to management of overtime and flex time. According to FSLA requirements future ‘comp time’ cannot be awarded instead of overtime pay on weeks an employee works more than 40 hours. However, it is our practice to adjust schedules within a workweek to prevent employees from incurring overtime.
WAGE GARNISHMENT
The church complies with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations regarding the garnishment of wages.
