Internet and Email

Employees are expected to use church-provided internet access responsibly, productively and according to employee conduct guidelines. Internet access is limited to job-related activities. Excessive or inappropriate use of church-provided internet access may result in disciplinary action or dismissal.

 

Data composed, transmitted and/or received by church computer systems belongs to the church and is recognized as part of its official data. It is therefore subject to disclosure for legal purposes or to other third parties. The equipment, services and technology used to access the internet are property of FBCO. All sites, downloads, emails and other electronic communication may be monitored and/or blocked at the discretion of FBCO and are subject to employee conduct guidelines.

 

Social Media

Use of social media technology including but not limited to services or software such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram is encouraged. Employees are expected to use these tools responsibly, productively and according to employee conduct guidelines. FBCO reserves the right to ask any employee to remove content that violates employee conduct guidelines. Excessive use during work hours or inappropriate use of social media may result in disciplinary action or dismissal.
