Call, Text, or Email your assistant with requests for time away. Time Away includes vacation, conferences, revival, sick and personal days as well as Approved Time Away.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:
  • Holidays - Because many employees like to take time away during holidays or during other times of the year requests for Time Away will be considered in the order they are received and considered in light of seniority on staff.
  • Two Weeks Notice - please allow up to two weeks for your request to be approved. Generally, we move much faster than this, but two weeks is a good expectation.
  • First Day Back - If your Time Away is due to sickness submit your Time Away Form on your first day back in the office.

APPROVED TIME AWAY

Simply put, Approved Time Away is time away from your regular responsibilities required by your immediate supervisor or that is considered part of your ministry responsibilities. For example...When the Student Minister attends camp. That's Approved Time Away. When the Executive Pastor requires you to attend a conference. That's Approved Time Away.

Approved Time Away must be requested and approved by an employee’s immediate supervisor and the Senior or Executive Pastors no less than two-weeks in advance.

HOW TO REQUEST TIME AWAY

  • Start with a CONVERSATION - talk with your immediate Supervisor and those who rely on you to communicate your intent, discover the effects of your absence and make plans for while you're gone.
  • Call, Email or Text your Assistant the DATES you intend to be away.

You will be notified by email when your time away is approved or denied.
